WALMART TOOK FIGHT TO E-COMMERCE GIANTS

Digital world technologies fights and challenges are never-ending competitions. All competitors try to take over other challengers that people consider an alternative in their consideration.   • Financials: Being an online store, Amazon made $43.55 billion by 575K employees while Walmart made $79.6 billion by 2.2 million employees as a physical spacer and online servicer. 40% growth was made by Walmart in 2018 and was entitled as third-largest retailer industry.

  • Innovation: Both E-commerce giants are working to achieve bigger than they have. It means Amazon is struggling to be a physical retailer. If we talk about Walmart, it is investing to develop the best online retailer services. Amazon introduced Amazon Go, a physical store without a cashier that innovated up to 17 countries.

  • Sustainability: Amazon is announcing to release carbon footprint while Walmart is planning to reduce its carbon footprint to maintain the environmental conditions.

As we can see that both stores are in parallel competition. This constant retail battle is never-ending competition because when one comes up with a better thing, another takes this as a challenge and plans to introduce innovations. We can’t decide which one to offer a crown but if we talk about specific areas. Amazon deserves the crown at online services while Walmart deserves physical retailer services.

Apart from this competition, Walmart is planning to serve better service. The centerpiece of Walmart’s CEO is “Get groceries at the doorstep”. This idea will be followed by technological gadgets and smart devices including drones and auto-cars. This shows that Walmart will be seen with new service mediums shortly.
