Parents have slammed a fashion label for selling ‘creepy’ clothes that ‘sexualise’ children.
Fashion Nova has been blasted for selling suggestive items to kids as young as 3 years old, including skimpy dresses, leather trousers and backless dresses.
The pieces are designed to match adult versions available on the site.
The Nova Kids line was launched late last month but has garnered controversy for the way in which its child models pose in a grown-up manner.
Social media users slammed some of the images from the LA-based fashion label for being ‘creepy and gross’.
What do you think about the outfits? Have your say in the comments below.
One user wrote on Twitter : “Wtf is Fashion Nova thinking with their kids line? Creepy and gross af… as a mom I’m disgusted.”
A second person added: “This Fashion Nova Kids is really not it.
“It’s some stuff up there that’s cute but it’s a lot of stuff up there that’s just not appropriate for a little girl to wear.”
A third said: “Fashion Nova lost their mind with these kids clothes.”
And one mum said: “I want my child dressing like a child, not like she about to go to the club.”
Another wrote: “Fashion Nova took all of their regular outfits and just made them in kids size and told y’all here’s a kid friendly clothing line.”
Earlier this year Fashion Nova turned heads after it revealed a sneak-peak of its bikini from their summer collection.
The teeny bikini, which was shared with Fashion Nova’s 18million Instagram followers , left little to the imagination.
Fashion Nova has been approached by the Mirror for comment.
